I HAVE to say this...I did my MA at the Rhode Island School of Design and started an indie food publication out of there. It's called Dhoop Magazine https://dhoopmag.com/

RISD allowed me to be a non-designer designer, and I am so, so grateful for how it has opened my mind.

I loveeee seeing these! I grew up in New England. On Sundays, we would visit an East West store in Burlington and rent a movie for the week. My dad would send me inside to tell the man behind the counter the name of the title I wanted and also the book number and page number for our account. He’d take down the appropriate black and white composition book from behind his desk and leaf through the thin pages until he found ours and wrote down the new name for the rental and cross out the one we returned. What a blast from the past to see these tapes!
